'1 he barometer has been steady at 29.80 inches, since mid-day on Tuesday. WELLINGTON, March 13. The weather was fine,' mild and pleasant, with intermittent cloud and sunshine. A light easterly breeze changed to south-easterly about 2..50 p.ni. The maximum temperature was 71.5. CHRISTCHURCH, March 13. The weather to-day was dull but fine, with a fresh north-east breeze. The maximum temperature was 00 degrees. The barometer is steady at 30.0 S inches.
