AVIATOR AND ACTRESS (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, March 12. The Black-Desmond engagement has been terminated by mutual consent. RESIGNING DIRECTORATE LONDON, March 12. Miss Desmond says she intends to resign from the directorate of the Campbell Black Aviation, Ltd. A previous message stated: T. Campbell Black, who, with C. W. A. Scott won the Melbourne Air Race, has formed a private company, Campbell Black Aviation, Ltd., to “ undertake all kinds of aerial transport,” under the directorship of himself and the actress, Florence Desmond, to whom he is engaged.
