(From Oub Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, March 12. Following the introduction of the Rural Mortgagors Final Adjustment Bill the House proceeded to discuss the Government amendment to the Mortgage Corporation Bill fixing at 4J per cent, the dividends paid on the corporation shares. Mr Coates explained that this had been framed to meet the demands made by members when the Bill was previously in committee.
