BALBOA BOUND
CRUISE OF AUSTRALIA TWENTY-FIVE DAYS AT SEA DUKE OF GLOUCESTER’S PLANS {United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (From H.M.A.S. Australia at sea.) February 16. The Ontario having signalled after dinner last night that she was on a correct bearing, the Australia left the Seth Parker after an exchange of farewell messages* “We are .now steaming to Balboa at under 13 knots in the necessity of husbanding fuel. Incidentally, the Australia will have been at sea for 25 days continuously, which is probably a record , for the navy since the war. In consequence of the time lost it has been decided to omit calls at the Bahamas and Bermuda. The Duke of Gloucester will be in Jamaica from March 6 to 16, arriving at Portsmouth' on March 28. It is hoped that the official calls at Balboa pn the morning of March 4 will be completed in time to permit the Duke to fly over the Gatun lock, rejoining the cruiser on the same day.
