BALLAD RECITAL

Mr Alfred Walmgley’e students will present a programme of a popular nature in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Wednesday evening, when hb fewer than 33 soloists and a student choir of -approximately 60 voices will be heard in favourite songs and ballads. Marjorie Wallace, Hannah Dick, Carol Miller, Agnes Hill, Alma Tyrrell, Mrs Morgan, Mrs Manning, Evan Styles, Wilfred Maxwell.-W. J.'Robertson, Ken-* netli Allen. Fred Wilson. F. Clarke, Douglas Rutherford, Frank Denford, L. Ford, and A. Birse. The programme will include “ Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind,” “Ah. Moon of My Delight,” “ The Pipes of Pan.” “ The Willow,” “ Linden Lea," “ The Windmill,” “A Heart That’s Free,” “King Charles,” “Not Understood,’ "Lullabv” (Brahms), and “A Dream” (Rubenstein).
