STRANGE FATALITY

BLOW FROM CRICKET BALL A seven-year-old boy named Kevin Smith, died at Armidale, New South Wales, recently as the result of an injury suffered several weeljs previously. The boy was playing cricket in the back yard of his home with his father and sister, and received a blow on the head from a ball which was thrown at the wicket by his sister. After his mother had treated an apparently superficial injury, he again took part in the game. Next morning he complained of a headache. He was admitted to hospital, and appeared to be recovering, but he collapsed and died from cerebral hemorrhage.
