(Received Jan. 24, at 5.5 p.m.) The London County Council is to consider applications from county councils for contributions towards the reservation of a green belt of open spaces round London. The offer would remain open for three years and the council’s commitment in that period would be limited to £2,000,000, grants being made only for the acquisition‘•of land.
