HOURS OF WORK
THE POSITION IN ITALY ROME, December 26. (Received Dec. 26, at. 11.30 p.m.) _ Signor Cianetti, head of the Fascist Workers’, Federation, says the 44-hour week has been so successful that it is likely to be permanently adopted. It has already given employment to 106,000 unemployed people, and he expressed the opinion that it will ultimately provide work for Italy’s 1,000,000 unemployed people.
