FEDERAL AGENT KILLED ANOTHER SERIOUSLY WOUNDED CHICAGO, November 27. (Received Nov. 28, at 9.30 p.m.) Two Federal agents who were- hunting for the last remnants of the P liinger gang were attacked by two gunmen in an automobile on a suburban road. One was tentatively identified as George ("Baby Face") Nelson, formerly " ; 1lingor's lieutenant. In a furious exchange of gunfire one of the agents was killed and the other seriously wounded. Tin' gangsters escaped. The wounded agent participated in the killing of Dillinger.
