"NINE TILL SIX"
At His Majesty's Theatre to-night at 8 o'clock the Dunedin Repertory Society will produce its seventh play—Aimee and Philip Stuart's delightful and entertaining comedy-drama entitled "Nine Till Six." The production of a play with an all-women cast is something of an innovation in Dunedin, and for this reason the players are all the more determined to make it one of the most successful efforts of the society. Fortunately, with its large active members' list, the society has been able to choose 10 players who should uphold the honour of their sex and the Repertory Society. Madame Winnie Fraser has been allotted the principal part, and, together with Miss Dorothy Clark, should produce a high standard of amateur acting. The rest of the cast may be relied upon to give a performance equally pleasing to a public that has come to expect something outstanding in repertory work. An outstanding feature of the play will be the smart frocking displayed, and this department lias been tiie especial care of Mrs L. R. Harty, who has throughout supervised the elaborate preparations that have been made. To state that the [day is produced by Miss Bessie Thomson, whose long record of successes as a producer is well and favourably known in Dunedin, should alone be a guarantee that the play will be worth seeing. The D.I.C. Orchestra, under Mr Charles Martin, will render the musical programme. The box plans are at the D.I.C. and day sales are at the Rialto.
