XO THEjjEMTOB g IR A brief reply to " Contra." There are over two hundred religions, based on different interpretations of the Bible. It not so based, 'why are these separate religions in existence? What is the man in the street to do about it? If he attached himself to any religion unless he is able to go to the original (Greek) documents and read them, he is taking his religion from authority, for how does he know that the particular interpretation of the Bible that distinguishes his religion from others is justified? I admit, that most of u fl have got to take our interpretation of the Bible on trust, but let it be clearly understood what we are doing, and let us not delude ourselves.— I am! etc., Codex.
