A light south-west wind and unsettled weather were experienced yesterday; Light showers fell during the early part of the morning, and the conditions were overcast and threatening all day. Rain fell fairly steadily late in the afternoon, and there were very heavy shower* this November. 19. • Some showers fell in Wellington during the early hours to-day. The remainder of the day was fine and warm, but with considerable cloud and a fresh to strong north-westerly wind. The temperature at 4 p.m.-was 03.12 degrees and the maximum for the day was 67.0 degrees.
