THE WEATHER
A light south-west wind and unsettled weather were experienced yesterday; Light showers fell during the early part of the morning, and the conditions were overcast and threatening all day. The maximum temperature was 57 degrees, and the barometer, which has been falling since Saturday, registered 29.45 last evening. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, November 19. A moderate northerly wind and cloudy threatening weather prevailed to-day, showers being experienced in the' afternoon. The barometer is still falling and registers 29.45 inches. , •1” • CHRISTCHURCH, November 19. The weather to-day was overcast and warm with a light south-east breeze. Th» maximum temperature was 70.1 degree*. Rain fell fairly steadily late in the afternoon, and there were very heavy shower* this November. 19. • Some showers fell in Wellington during the early hours to-day. The remainder of the day was fine and warm, but with considerable cloud and a fresh to strong north-westerly wind. The temperature at 4 p.m.-was 03.12 degrees and the maximum for the day was 67.0 degrees.
