GERMANY’S “FREE” PRESS
DIRECTIONS TO JOURNALISTS BERLIN, November 14. Dr Goebels hag issued directions to journalists telling them what to say and how to say it. He warns them that it is useless to criticise prospective laws. Journalists must also avoid giving the impression that there is any German army except the Reichswehr. Reproduction of “ false statements ” for which anti-Nazis are tried is forbidden. Newspapers must also emphasise that the church conflict is settled.
