SECONDARY SCHOOLS’ GAME. (Per United Press Association) TIMAHU, November 14. The annual cricket match between Christs College and the Timaru Boys’ High School was played to-day, and was won by Christ’s College by 63 runs on the first innings. Batting first, Timaru made 130 (B. Ritchie 49, W. Baillie 29; R. Alexander 3 wickets for 47). Christ’s College made 199 (Alexander 119, B. Jones 29; E. Earwaker 0 wickets for 63). Timaru’s second effort realised 144 (Earwaker 40, M'Laughlan 33, Baillie 29; N. Buchanan 6 wickets for 29).
