THE WEATHER
A moderate north-east wind and fine, sunny weather prevailed yesterday. The maximum temperature was 59 degrees. The barometer fell several points and registered 29.85 at 4 p.m, REPORTS FROM THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, November 16. _ The spell of fine, warm weather continued to-day, there being a northeasterly breeze. The temperature at 4 p.m. was 71 degrees. The barometer showed a downward tendency after midday and was below normal this evening. WELLINGTON, November 15. Wellington had a fine, warm day. There was continuous sunshine and a moderate to fresh north-west wind prevailed. CHRISTCHURCH, November 15. The weather to-day was sunny and pleasant, with a fresh north-east breeze in the morning, changing to easterly in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 64.7 degrees. The barometer, after falling, is now steady at 29.90 inches.
