AUSTRALIA'S EXPORTS THE PROPOSED RESTRICTION CANBERRA, November 12. - (Received Nov. 13, at 1.30 a.m.) The Federal Cabinet discussed Jhe proposed restriction for two months of Australian exports of beef and veal to the United Kingdom. The Government's opposition is evident, but it is felt that the position could be clarified by securing expert knowledge and opinions of the industry. ,_ Dr Earle Page will call the Meat Advisory Board to a conference at Canberra as soon as possible. In view of the likelihood of Western Australia desiring to be represented, it is improbable that the conference will be held earlier than the beginning of next week.
