Bitchener). gave notice in the House of Representatives to-day. The annual report of the Labour Department, which was recently tabled, showed that 176 applications for relief under the. Act were made last' year, and in 29 cases rente were . reduced without reference to the court. In the,previous year the applications numbered 278. ,
