RAVENSBOURNE BOATING CLUB

ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Ravcnsbourne Boating Club was held on Tuesday before a fair attendance of members. The commodore (Mr W. Webber) in opening the meeting -welcomed a number of new members, stating that it augured well for the future of the club to see so many young members taking a keen interest in the doings of the club. Moving the adoption ,of the annual report and balance sheet, the commodore said that it was pleasing to see than though hard times were with them the club had again come out on the right side of the ledger and he hoped that the coming season would be as successful as the one just passed. The election of officers resulted as followslmmediate past commodore, Mr H. E. Moller; commodore, Mr W. Webber: vice-commodores —Messrs J. M'Pherson, A. D. Asher, D. J. Cameron, T. Cuthbert: club captain, Mr D. Davidson ; deputy captain, Mr N. Treurn: secretary and treasurer,- Mr J. P. Robinson; assistant secretary, Mr N. Lamond; committee—-Messrs R. Cardno, A. Grant, R. Guthrie, R. Todd, W. Rae, C. Booth, R. Rennie, P. Saunders; delegates to association—Messrs W. Webber and T. Cuthbert; auditor—Messrs P. Young and F. Boswell.
