An enjoyable evening was spent, and at the conclusion Mr J. C. H. Somerville wished the association’s president ' bon voyage.” Mr Hildreth is leaving next week to attend the Melbourne centenary celebrations. In reply, Mr Hildreth acknowledged the good wishes of the association, and thanked all those who had assisted in making the reunion a success. The reunion church service was held in the Presbyterian Church on Sunday evening, when the Rev. G. H. Jupp delivered an appropriate address. The lessons were read by two ex-pupils, Mr T. Somerville and Mr W. T. Hildreth, while the choir sang the anthem “ Hark, Hark, My Soul,” the solo parts being taken by Miss R. Stubbs and Miss Alma Aitken. In the report of the reunion social the name of Mrs H. F. Lanham was inadvertently omitted from the list of officebearers elected for the coming year.
