THE DUKE AT COLOMBO PARTICIPATION IN POLO (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) COLOMBO, September 21. (Received Sept. 21, at 9 p.m.) The Duke of Gloucester in the afternoon participated in three polo chukkas, twice on the winning side. He especially impressed the crowd with the way he mastered a particularly tricky pony named Begorrah Duke. He took train at midnight for Nuwara Eliya, where he will rest in preparation for Sunday's ceremony of the presentation of the historic Kandyan throne and crown, which will be transferred from, the Sussex quarter-deck on Saturday with dignified ceremony to the safe keeping of the Ceylon police.
