WOMEN ATHLETES

RECENT WORLD , GAMES ASTONISHING ALLEGATIONS CAPETOWN, September 19. * Allegations that. some of the foreign athletes who had taken part in 'the women’s world games at White City, London, recently were of the masculine sex were made by Mr B, C., Sims, manager of the South African Empire Games team, in a report to the South African Olympic British Empire Games Association.

“ The class of person representing foreign countries at these games is, to say the least, peculiar. From my personal observations quite a number, of outstanding foreign athletes shaved, bad very deep voices, and gave the impression of being of the masculine sex,” said Mr Sims.
