THE SECRETARYSHIP MINISTERS INELIGIBLE LONDON, September 19. The Labour Conference at Southport on October 1 will consider the executive’s report explaining the decision to reject Communist and Independent Labour Parties’ proposals for a united front against Fascism. It has been announced that Mr Henderson’s resignation from the secretaryship will take effect on December 31. The secretaryship will henceforth not be held by a Cabinet Minister.
