Holmdale, having completed her survey, was removed from the small dock at Port Chalmers yesterday morning. She came to Dunedin later to load, and sailed last night for Wellington, Plcton, Nelson, Wanganui, and New Plymouth, via ports. Port Waikato, which arrived yesterday morning from Auckland, via ports, sailed last night for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, and Wellington to complete loading for Tauranga, Auckland,., and Whnngarei. Khvltca arrived yesterday morning from Auckland, via ports, and was berthed at the Birch street wharf to discharge and load general cargo. She is to sail to-morrow for Oamaru, Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Auckland. Parera Is now due at Dunedin on Tuesday to load general cargo for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth, and Port Waikato. Opihl Is due at Dunedin to-day from Westport and Lyttelton to load general cargo. She is timed to -sail this evening for Wellington, Nelson and New Plymouth, via ports. Storm sailed last evening for Tlmaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. Walnul is due at Dunedin on Monday from Wellington, and is timed to sail on Tuesday for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne, via ports. Gale has been fixed to load at Dunedin on Monday for Tlmaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth. ROTORUA AT PORT CHALMERS. The New Zealand- Shipping Company's liner Rotorua arrived yesterday afternoon from London, via Panama canal, Suva and Wellington. She was berthed at the George street wharf. Port Chalmers, where the Dunedin portion of her Home cargo Is being discharged. The Rotorua is expected to sail to-morrow for Lyttelton and Napier to complete discharge. RANGITANE HOMEWARD BOUND. Advice received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the Rangitane, en route from Auckland to Loudon, arrived at Panama on September 18. The Oceanic Company’s liner Monterey left San Francisco on September 18 and Los Angeles on September 19 for Honolulu, Pago Pago, Suva, Auckland, Sydney and Melbourne. She Is duo at Auckland on October 5. KENT LOADS AT LIVERPOOL. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Kent will load at Liverpool for Auckland, Napter, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. . The New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor ship Orarl, which left Auckland for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow on July 27, Is reported to havo reached Glasgow on September 14. PORT BRISBANE AT LONDON. Cabled advice has been received by the C. and D. Line that the Port Brisbane, which left Auckland on July 31 for London, via Cape Horn, reached London, on September 10. WAIKAWA FROM PACIFIC COAST. Tlie Union Company’s Walkawa, en roufe from Pacific coast ports, was due at Papeete on Thursday. She will proceed thence to Atlu, Rarotonga and Nukualofa, thence on September 22 to Auckland. Wellington, New Plymouth, Lyttelton and Dunedin, and Is due at Auckland on September 27. TAINUI FROM ENGLAND. The Shaw, Savill Company has received a wireless message from the liner Talnul, en route from London and Southampton, via Kingston and the Panama canal, reporting that she expects to arrive In the stream at Wellington at daybreak on Tuesday. She will later proceed to Auckland to complete discharge of her London cargo. WINGATUI AND KAIMIRO LAID UP. The Union Company’s Wlngatul has been paid off and laid up at Auckland. The running In the Auckland-Welllngton-South Island service Is being taken by the Klwltea. The Union Company’s Kalmlro has been paid oft and laid up at Wellington. PERSONAL ITEMS. Captain W. H. D. Gardner has taken command of the Gabrlella, relieving Captain C. W. Ostenfeld, who is proceeding to Sydney on holiday leave by the Maunganul. Mr R. E.
