MAGISTRATE’S COURT
Tuesday, Septejibek 18. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) UNDEFENDED CASES. Judgment for the plaintiff was given in the following undefended cases:— Matheeon and Roberts, Ltd., v. William Somerville Ritchie, claim £2 8s for goods supplied, with costs (£1 3s Cd) ; Brown, Ewing and Co., Ltd., v. M. Ford (Lauder), claim 11s 5d for goods supplied, with costs (T2s) ; Wanaka Motors, Ltd., v. H. Peake (Pembroke), claim £1 os od for goods supplied and motor hire, with costs (8s); Brown, Ewing and Co., Ltd., v. Lloyd Collie, claim £1 8s 9d for goods supplied, with costs (I Is); Fraser and Sons v. W. Phelan (Edendale), claim £2 12s 3d for goods supplied, with costs (£1 7s Cd); Reddells, Lid., v. Frederick Parker (Miller's Flat), claim £l2 2s for goods supplied, with costs (£2 16s); the Commissioner of Taxes v. Rebecca Marion Bond, claim £0 10s 8d as unpaid income tax, with costs (15s); the Texas Company (Australasia), .Ltd., v. M. J, Prenderville (Invercargill), claim £1 4s for goods supplied, with costs (10s). ORDER FOR POSSESSION. Thomas O’Neill was proceeded against by James Martin Samson, who claimed possession of a dwelling house occupied by the defendant and also £4 7s 6d in rent. —The magistrate made an order for possession on or before September 25, and also gave judgment for the amount claimed, with costs (£1 11s Od).
