FORESTERS

The fortnightly meeting of Court Pride of Waitaki Ancient Order of Foresters was held in the Presbyterian Sunday School Hall on Monday. In the absence of C.R. Bro. Duffy, 1.P.C.R., Bro. B. T. Appleby presided over a large attendance of members. The nominations of officers resulted as follows:—l.P.C.R., Bro. Duffy: C.R., Bro. Sanders; S.C.R., Bro. Worthington: S.W., Bro. R. Smith; J.W., Sis. M. M'Gown; 5.8., Sis. M. Don; J. 8., Bro. W. Borland; secretary, Bro. J. Curie; treasurer, Bro. J. Shanks; auditors—P.C.R. Bro. A. Chapman, jun., P.C.R. Bro. J. Chapman, and P.C.R. Bro. J. Pearson was elected to represent the court at the district meeting at Port Chalmers at Easter. It was decided to invite the district executive from Dunedin and Court Pride of Oamaru and Court Victoria to attend the ceremony, which will be conducted by P.D.C.R. Bro. W. Doran, the installing .officer for North Otago.
