BOXING

TO THE EDITOR Sir, —Having listened and read for two years past of the desperate and gallant efforts of the Otago Boxing Association to arrange a professional contest in Dunedin, might I be presumptions enough to ask; When will this promised bout eventuate? \ With so many men of talent on the executive, all of whom are presumably versed well in the art of boxing (being mostly judges), surely one of them can arrange something in the’nature of a bout for this town. Should they find this task impossible, would it not be better to resign “ eu masse,” and leave the sport in more capable hands? —I am, etc., Boxing.
