DAIRY COMMISSION

FURTHER EXTENSION OF TIME, i (From Our Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, August 31. The Dairy Commission, it is understood, will require an extension of time. The report of the commission was due to-day, but the Prime Minister, Mr G. W. Forbes, indicated this evening that although no arrangements for an extension of time had yet been made these would be carried out during the weekend. Asked if the commission intended to make an interim report to the Government, Mr Forbes said the Government was expecting one, but that so far none had come to hand. It is believed that the commission hopes to complete its final report in about a fortnight’s time.
