S. Cush's b g PRINCE POMBAL (Porabal —Veil), 4 vis, 9.11 (Pike) 1 LANCASTER KING, car. g SHATTER (N.Z.), 9.9 (M’Carten) .. 3 Ten started. The winner led all the way. Won by three lengths, with threequarters of a length between second and third. Time, Imiu 44:1 sec. Dole finished from behind for a good third in the second division of the hliing Handicap, in which 13 started. , Headmaster was fifth in the hrst division of the Flying. ........ Lack was unplaced in the third division of the Flying. . Two No Trumps was unplaced m the Thrcc-y car-old Handicap. NIGHTLY SLIGHTLY LAME. SYDNEY. August 29. CAPE FAIR RUNS THIRD. MELBOURNE, August 29. (Received August 30. at 0.30 a.m.) At the Yarra Glen Hunt Clubs races, held at Moonee Valley, the New Zealand horse Cape Fair was third in the Yearling Trial Hurdle.
