TEAM MAY VISIT AUSTRALIA , .SAN FRANCISCO, August. 28. (Received August 30, at 0.30 a.m.j The Australian Press Association learns that a proposal has been made that an American team of footballers composed of 30 of the best known professional players in America should go to Australia and. play exhibition matches during the centenary, and possibly engage in Rugby matches with Australian teams. Jack Patrick, who is Rugby coach at the Olympic Club here, and one or two other Australian and New Zealand Rugby exponents, will probably be engaged to coach the Americans. Australian football and Rugby Associations mav help to',underwrite Jhe tour.
