HUNT CLUB’S BALL

The Hunt Club’s ball is always one; of the social events of the season, and the preparations for this year's function, which is to be held in the Town Hall on September 6, gives promise that tha revelry will rival in popularity its predecessors, Schofield’s New Collegians will supply the music, and among the special features will be the singing of "John' Peel ” and other hunting numbers by Mr A. M'Donald. Further novelties will include Miss Lily Stevens’s Scottish Ballet of .11 artists: also Miss Gwen Webster’s Jockey Ballet, both of which will undoubtedly prove very popular. The Otago Regimental Band will play the Grand March) hunting numbers, and extras, in order that the dancing may proceed continuously. •
