HEIMWEHR GARRISON

YOUNGER MEMBERS REVOLT THE LEADERS ARRESTED VIENNA, August 28. Younger members of the Heimwebr garrison in the working class suburb of Florisdore revolted against the commander, alleging that he was unfaithful to Heimwebr aims. Loyal members _of the garrison resisted, and brisk fighting with revolvers, bayonets and truncheons followed.

A brigade of steel-helmeted troops arrived in lorries and succeeded after an hour’s fighting in arresting the leaders of the revolt.
