BURGLARY AT STORE

TWO MEN BEFORE COURT FURTHER CHARGES PENDING. (Pek United Press Association) CHRISTCHURCH, August 28. In the Magistrate’s Court, Henry Crawford, aged 21, and James Ernest Baggstrom, aged 22, labourers, were charged with breaking and entering the Rangiora branch store of the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association on August 25 and stealing goods. They -were remanded till September 4. The police said there would s at least three other charges laid, one of a more serious nature. The accused were arrested near Templeton on ' Monday evening. They had in their possession goods, including two rifles, alleged to have been stolen from the New Zealand Farmers’ Co-operative Association's' . branch at Rangiora on Saturday night.
