'■ < •_ •• The chairman referred to the death of Sister Tombs, and .members; stood-. » silence in respect to her memory. A : Thirty nominations were received, and two 1 honorary members were elected. There were ' four inward transfers and ■five outwards.' The. death of T. Connor (Tahakopa) was > recorded. , It was reported that the figures in the membership campaign now s.tppd as follows: Dunedin 1752/.Christchurch 1496. ; ,;■■ v '' GENERAL, . - It was stated that a suggestion had been made.that the personnel on the trains during, .the - visit -- of'his ’Royal Highness the 'Duke of Gloucester'’ should consist entirely of returned soldiers. This suggestion had now : been placed betore thr Minister'of Railways for consideration.
