TO THE EDITOR. Sib,—-The first wash-up announced from this dredge on reaching the Big Beach claim was ]o4oz of gold. Will the directors state whether this gold was obtained wholly as a result of the wbrk oh the Big Beach claim, or did this return include, to a large extent, gold obtained before the dredge reached its destination. — l. am, etc., Interested. [The answer furnished to this inquiry is that portion of the wash-up represents gold obtained in the gorge.— Ed, O.D.T.J
