SUPREME COURT.

/ PRISONERS SENTENCED. (Pm Dkited Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 27. Thomas Warren Forrester and Vernon Arnold Watson, for theft from a dwellinghouse, were admitted to two years prohation by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers) in the Supreme Court to-day on statutory and certain other conditions. Hugh Ferguson, aged 63, was also admitted to probation for two years on a charge of attempted rape, and was ordered to pay £lO costs and during his period of probation he is not to live within 20 miles of Collingwood.
