A SHARK TRAGEDY FISHERMAN TORN TO PIECES BRISBANE, August 27. Robert Steele, a fisherman, was torn to pieces by a number of sharks when lie dived from a launch about 20 miles from Cardwell. Steele was attempting •to recover a fish which had floated away. His companion was unable to Render aid, as the. sharks fought over the body. Steele leaves a widow and 10 children. BROTHERS FOUND DEAD SIDNEY, August 27, Two brothers, Geoffrey Warmau, aged 13, and Douglas Warman, aged eight, were found dead in a bath at their home at Parramatta. They -ere apparently overcome by carbon monoxide fumes from a gas heater, collapsed, and were drowned before their parents were aware of their plight.
