With a cargo of raw sugar from Java, the Bank Line motor ship Invcrbank was due at Auckland yesterday. The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the motor ship Opawa will now commence her Homeward loading at New Plymouth on August 8, and will complete at Nelson, Wanganui, Wellington and Auckland. She is to clear Auckland finally, on August 28 for London, Liverpool and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Dakar. The-American steamer Golden Coast was due at Auckland yesterday from Los Angeles. The vessel has cargo from Pacific coast ports for discharge at Auckland, Wellington and Australian ports. The Port Hardy arrived at Bluff on Sunday from Port Kembla to commence Homewafd loading. She will leave Bluff to-morrow for Timaru. COASTWISE MOVEMENTS. Wainul, which arrived yesterday morning from Wellington, is timed to sail this afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Napier and Gisborne. Holmdale, which arrived here yesterday morning from Wellington, sailed last evening for Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington, Picton and Wanganui. Walpiata, sailed yesterday afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for Wellington and Auckland. Klnl has been fixed to load at Westport tomorrow for Lyttelton, Timaru, Oamaru and Dunedin. She is due at this port on August 8. Breeze Is due at Dunedin this morning from Bluff to load general cargo. She Is to sail this evening for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Waiffcanui and New Plymouth. Wlngatul, which was delayed at Auckland on Saturday owing to heavy rain, was to sail yesterday for Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at this port on Saturday. Holmglcn has been fixed to load at Dunedin on Saturday for Wellington, Wanganui, New Plymouth and Port Walkato. Port Walkato Is due at Dunedin on Saturday from northern ports to discharge and load general cargo. She Is timed to sail the same day for Wellington, Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarel, via ports. Gale Is due here on August 5 from Lyttelton, and is timed to sail the following day for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, Wanganui and New Plymouth. WAIKOUAITI DUE TO-DAY. The Union Company advises that the Walkouaiti is due at Dunedin this evening from Newcastle, Sydney, Port Kembla and Hobart, via Bluff. She will discharge general cargo and sail on Thursday for Timaru and Lyttelton. FISCUS FROM NAURU ISLAND. The steamer Flscus, now discharging rock sulphur at the Ravensbourne wharf, Is to sail to-morrow for Westport. After bunkering there' she will proceed to Nauru Island to load phosphates for Australian ports. PORT FAIRY LEAVES SUVA. The Port Fairy left Suva on Friday for Dunedin, where she is due on Thursday to com-, mence discharge of her London cargo. She will complete at Lyttelton and Oamaru. THE CANADIAN VICTOR. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Canadian Victor, from Montreal, via Australian ports, was due at Bluff last evening. She Is expected to reach Dunedin on Thursday to discharge Canadian cargo and load products. The vessel will sail on Friday for Timaru and Lyttelton to complete loading for New York, Boston and Montreal. AKAROA LEAVES BALBOA. The Akaroa, en route from Southampton for Wellington and Lyttelton, left Balboa yesterday morning. She is now due at Wellington on August 15. KARAMEA TO LOAD. Tiie Karamea, en route from Hamburg, completed discharge at Australian ports and left Townsville last Thursday evening for Port Chalmers to commence loading. She is due at Port Chalmers oc Thursday. MATAROA AT SOUTHAMPTON. The Mataroa, which sailed from Wellington on June 22 for Southampton and London, via Panama and Curacao, arrived at Southampton on the morning of July 26. NEWSPRINT FROM NOVA SCOTIA. The British steamer Parracombe has left Liverpool, Nova Scotia, with a cargo of newsprint for New Zealand. She ia scheduled to reach Auckland about August 28. CANADIAN BRITISHER AT MONTREAL. The Canadian Britisher, which left Wellington on May 22 for New York, Boston and Montreal, via "Australia, arrived at Montreal on July 25. WESTMORELAND AT LONDON. The Westmoreland, which left Napier on June 16 for Southampton, London and Hull, arrived at London on July 27. BRITISH TANKER SOLEN. The British tanker Solen left Ballkpapan on July 23 for New Zealand with motor spirit for the Shell Company. She is due at Wellington on August 12 and will complete discharge at Dunedin and Auckland. The Solen was built in 1922 and is a vessel of 5693 tons gross. CAMBRIDGE LEAVES COLON. The Federal Company has received cabled advice that the Cambridge cleared Colon on July 21. She left Auckland on June 30 for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool and Glasgow, via thn Panama canal. PERSONAL ITEMS. Dt N. J. O'Slica has been appointed surgeon or the Maunganui. Mr E. E. Law is now chief engineer of the Maori, relieving Mr W. N. Aimers. Mr C. Peagram has been engaged as assistant purser on the Rangatira. Mr A. J. Barlow has been appointed assistant purser on the Tamahine In placo of Mr J. M. Cleary, who has transferred to the Marama In the' same capacity, relieving Mr J. M. Broad. SAN FRANCISCO MAIL SERVICE. The It.M.S. Maunganui Is to leave Sydney on Thursday for San Francisco, via Wellington and Island ports. The San Francisco service will then be normal for the llrst time in three months. On May 5 tho Makura was withdrawn for overhaul and survey and sho was not replaced. On June 11 she was to have been rccommissloned in place of the Maunganui, which was withdrawn for overhaul "t Wellington on June 11.
