PRACTICAL PSYCHOLOGY
" Remagneti9ing Your Body," with special reference to diet and vitamins, was the subject discussed by the Dunedin Practical Psychology Club at its last meeting. Mrs H. S. Tily presided. People were living at a higher rate than ■ that at which the body could send out vibrations. This caused a great strain on the nerves, as the body was not able to keep pace with the mind, and neurasthenia and similar ills resulted. The mind had the power to .remagnetise the body by regulating the nature of the thoughts sent forth. The blood stream should also be kept in good order by the diet. An attitude of contentment and faith should be cultivated to soothe and. strengthen the nerves. During the months of July and August the body _wa«.. at its lowest ebb, and at that time the remagnetisatiOn of the body should receive attention. The various vitamins were discussed in relation to their effects on the body and the foods in which they were found. The body should be. kept - healthy through the mind and right living, and above all, the mind should of . kept free from worry.
