Russia has established the first distance record for aerial trains. A motored airplane, serving as locomotive, recently towed three gliders, each having its own skilled pilot, more than 800 miles. Several landings were made, the glider pilots detaching and coming down singly. The take-off, with the three gliders strung behind, i s simple. The average speeft between towns is 110 miles an hour. Moscow authorities are jubilant. They say that they see the momentous spectacle of gky freight trains as practically af hand.
