LAW STUDENTS’ DEBATING SOCIETY

The Law Students’ Debating Society held its annual oratorical contest on Monday evening, with a large attendance of members. The speakers for the evening displayed a consistently high standard and showed a thorough knowledge of their chosen subjects. The judge, Mr C. M. Barnett, in the course of his remarks, gave some helpful criticism and sound advice on public speaking. The following speakers were placed:—Mr K. A. Patterson 1, Mr L. F. Moller 2, Mr K. W.
