LOCAL ACTIVITIES GROUPS TO REPORT. The following groups will report for work with the Works Department at 8 a.m, to-day:— •, SOl—Ross Creek reservoir. 303—Signal Hill road, one mile above M'Gregor street (meet: at M‘Gregor street at 8 a.m.), SOSr-Sunbury street, at Cranston street. 307—Taier! road, at Dean street. 310—M'Glashan street, at Neville street. '' 312 Skibo street, at Dornoch street. 313 — Glen avenue, at Bridger street. 325—Glen avenue, at Bridger ‘street. 338 —Preston crescent, at Harcourc street. 3000, 3001, 8002, SOO3, and 3005 Woodhaugh street, at quarry. Reserves Department groups should report for work at 8 a.m. to-day aa follows: — ' 203, 294. 333, 512, 710—At Woodhaugh Gardens. 318—At Upper Gardens, Opobo. 511 and 704 —At Mofnington Football Ground. 324 —At Chisholm Park. UNEMPLOYED WORKERS’ MOVEMENT The weekly meeting of the executive of the Unemployed Workers’ Movement was held on Monday evening. The president (Mr G. Geddes) occupied the chair. The secretary was instructed to draw, up a circular for distribution and, to arrange a meeting of all unemployed women for the purpose of forming a women’s branch of the N.U.W.M. It was agreed that a circular be distributed in Caversham to reorganise the men’s branch. Complaints were received from relief workers concerning their treatment at various depots. Delegates were instructed to bring this matter before the District Council. The organiser was instructed to obtain information about the complaints received and report at the nest meeting.
