CHURCH ARMY MISSION

Two Church Army captains, part of the flying column from England, addressed a large congregation in All Saints’ Church on Monday night in the opening meetings of a week’s mission. Captain Beck, alluding to experiences in his Majesty’s prisons, said that “Fifteen Years in Gaol ” would be the subject of his talk to men on Sunday afternoon. There are several sisters with the column, and one .will speak to women on Friday afternoon. Captain Grace is the latest arrival from headquarters in London, where the famous prebendary, Wilson Carlilc, first planted the flag of this, the pioneer movement of " army ” evangelistic type, whose vans, captains, and sisters are known in every county of the Homeland, aud not least in the slums of. the cities.
