Fine weather, with passing cloud and sunshine, prevailed yesterday. A fresh south-west wind was blowing, and the maximum temperature was 62 degrees. The barometer fell several points, and registered 29.80 in last evening. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND. June 11. A dense fog was experienced for three hours early this morning. After the fog cleared fine sunny weather and a light north-east wind prevailed until evening, when the sky became overcast and threatening. The barometer, which has been falling since midnight, registers SO.OOin. CHRISTCHURCH, June 11. The weather to-day was fine, calm, and clear, with a maximum temperature of 51.1 degrees, following a frost this morning of 13.2. the most severe this year. The barometer fell to 29.753, but is now steady.
