DATES OF THE TESTS
Five test matches will be played during the tour. The first four are to be limited to four days each. The final test, however, is to be played to a finish, subject to the conditions contained in an Australian proposal to which the M.C.C. agreed—i.e., that neither side has won two of the first four tests, or if the results are equal. > The test match fixtures are:— June 8,9, 11,'12.—First test, at Nottingham. June 22, 23, 25, 20.—Second test, at Lord's. July 6,7, 9, 10.—Third test, at Manchester. July 20, 21, 23, 24. —Fourth test, at Leeds.. August 18, 20, 21, 22.—Fifth test, at the Oval.
