Twenty A met United A in the Brydone Hall last, night in the second round of the Badminton Association’s matches. United winning by 7 sets to 5. The results were (Twenty A names first) ; . Men’s Doubles. —Hawkswortb and Moloney beat Pearce and Barron, 21—10; Anderson and Guy beat Grimsdale and Clarke, 21—4; Hawksworth and Moloney beat Grimsdale and Clarke, 21—0; Anderson and Gny lost to Pearce and Barron, 16—21. Ladies’ Doubles. —Mrs Ferguson and Miss Bolwell lost to Miss Wright and Miss Brown, 12—21; Miss Wood and Miss Fowell lost to Mrs Lorimer and Miss Foster, 17—21; Mrs Ferguson and Miss Bolwell beat Mrs Lorimer and Miss Foster, 21—0; Miss Wood and Miss Fowell lost to Miss Wright and Miss Brown. ' Mixed Doubles.—Hawksworth and Miss Bolwell lost to Pearce and Miss Brown, 12—21; Moloney and Mrs Ferguson beat Barron and Mrs £orimer, 21—3; Anderson and Miss Woods lost to Grimsdale and Miss Wright, 18 —21; Guy and Miss Fowell beat Clarke and Miss Foster, 21—10.
