THE WEATHER
Variable and unsettled weather was experienced in Dunedin yesterday. Light showers fell at intervals, and the sky was overcast all day. A light north-east wind was blowing. The maximum temperature was 54deg. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, May 21. Fine weather and an overcast sky were experienced to-day, the wind being light from the south-west. The barometer was steady at 30.05 in. WELLINGTON, May 21. Fine, though rather cloudy, weather with fairly mild temperatures was experienced to-day. The wind was northwesterly and light in the morning, but freshened somewhat in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 55.9 deg. CHRISTCHURCH, May 21. The weather to-day was fine and sunny with a light east-nor'-east breeze in the morning and a light easterly in the afternoon. The maximum temperature was 56.5 deg. The barometer fell from 29.85 to 29.74.
