QUOTA ON BUTTER
NO LIKELIHOOD OF IMPOSITION “ STANDSTILL V AGREEMENT PROBABLE. (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND. May 9. There ii no likelihood of a quota on New Zealand butter during the currency of the Ottawa agreements, according to a, cablegram received from Mr Dynes Fulton;' chairman of directors of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, Ltd., who is now in Great Britain investigating marketing conditions. Mi Fulton stated that his information was obtained from a reliable authority. It was expected that the dominions would be approached by the British Government shortly before the agreements expired, and a “ standstill" agreement would be sought while arrangements were made to restrict foreign supplies. • ■ Mr Fulton will lea\'e England at the end of this month, returning to New Zealand via United States and Canada, He expects to arrive at Auckland on July 9, in time to attend the annual meeting of the Dairy Produce Board in v Wellington on July 11. - %
