BOYCOTT OF CHANCELLOR RESENTMENT OF TAX. LONDON, April -1Certain provincial kinema exhibitors have decided to boycott new bl™* showing the Chancellor, Mr Neville Chamberlain, and to refuse any support to the Government, as a protest against its refusal to reduce the entertainment t3 A “national campaign” against the Government has been launched at Manchester, where an organisation representing more, than 200 kiuemas has issued aif instruction to delete news reels showing Mr Chamberlain. Some Scottish kinemas are acting similarly, but the headquarters of the Kinematograph Exhibitors’ Association in London says the movement is unofficial.
