STORY OF GERMAN OFFER VALUABLE DRUG FORMULA. BERLIN, April 25. A German offer to exchange the formula of a valuable drug in return for her lost colonies was mentioned by Sir Leonard Rogers, a distinguished authority on tropical medicine, in an address at Manchester on tropical diseases. The Germans discovered a remedy for sleeping sickness and offered it to Britain against the restoration of their colonies, said Sir Leonard, but before the offer could be seriously considered French doctors discovered the formula themselves.
