RUGBY FOOTBALL
THE 1935 ALL BLACKS PROVISIONAL ITINERARY (Peb United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, March 23. The provisional programme drawn up by the Rugby Football Union (England) and submitted for the approval of the New Zealand Union provides for about the same number of matches as in the 1924-25 tour. There is an important difference, however, in that several matches, including a test, are to be played in Scotland, where no matches took place on the last tour. In soma cases the name of the team to oppose the All Blacks is not stated, though an indication of the fixture is given in the naming of the place of the engagement. The touring team will have a full week free of match play prior to each test. The provisional programme for the itinerary is as follows:—September 14, in Devon; September 18, in Yorkshire; September 21, in Yorkshire; September 25, in Wales; September 28, in Wales; October 2, in Wales; October 5, in Lancashire; October J), in the north; October 12, in Scotland; October 16, in Scotland; October 19, in Londou; October 23, in Wales; October 2fl! in Wales; October 30, in Gloucestershire; November 2, in London; November 6, versus Oxford University; November 9, in the Midlands; November 13, v. Cambridge University; November 16, free; November 23, versus Scotland (test) ; November 27, in Scotland; November 30, in Ireland; December 7, versus Ireland (test) ; December 11, in Wales; December 14, in Wales; December 21, versus Wales (test) ; December 26, in London; January 4, versus England (test).
